I always wanted to sing in a band, and when I was asked to, I was so excited. The first time we all got together, you could feel the love of music in our hearts and the power of God with us to play and write His music for others. And it makes me feel good to sing and spread God's word through song. Jill Jackson
What a thrill it is for me to be part of this group. If our music gives you even a fraction of the blessing that I have received from it, then we have accomplished what I hoped we would. God bless you all.

When I was in high school, "garage bands" were the best alternative to hot rodding. I had a guitar and a garage, so a band seemed obvious. The noise we made was not considered "joyful" by most people, but the four of us thought we sounded great. Few activities have given me the pleasure, the satisfaction, and filled me with the spirit as playing with Joyful Noise. I am blessed to have this opportunity.

Musically speaking, I've been playing guitar since 1975. I taught myself after I was told I couldn't have lessons. Hope to someday learn how to read music. Spiritually speaking, nothing has brought me closer to the Lord or made me feel more spiritually fulfilled and useful than playing music that glorifies our Lord and Savior. Greatest feeling of accomplishment was hearing at least two people I don't know say that "Turn My Eyes" was their favorite, and that they go around singing it. As with most of my songs, it was written very quickly, and I never think they are any good. Lastly, thanks to Jill, Jackie and Chad for allowing me to play with you. Words and chords are nothing without great musicians to bring them to life.
